About OMCE
The Organization of NYS Management/Confidential Employees Inc. OMCE was established in 1976 to protect and actively promote the interests of the Managerial and Confidential (M/C) employees of the State of NY, we are the only organization that represents state M/C employees. The Taylor law prohibits M/C employees from joining a Union and OMCE fills that important void.

Major objectives include protecting and promoting the rights of M/C employees and obtaining equity for them in working conditions, compensation and benefit matters. One of our most important functions is advocating the interests of our members at the Governor's Office, the office of Employee Relations, the Division of the Budget, at other state agencies, the Legislature and the Courts.

OMCE on September 2, 1999 affiliated with OPEIU Local #153 AFL-CIO (Office and Professional Employees International Union.) OMCE is an active member of the AFL-CIO Public Employees Pension Task Force and Taylor Law Task Force.
